Multi-masking somehow revived face masks back from the ashes. A while ago, multi-masking was taking over all the buzz in the beauty community as customized face care seemed like a genius idea. We're living in a society, where one mask is not enough anymore and every skin has different types of area to treat. Vichy is definitely not late to the party, rather I was actually observing the whole face mask craze from behind. Multi-masking with Vichy Mineral Masks or not, I still feel they deserve a little bit of spotlight.

There are 3 different types of Vichy mineral face masks, which target different skin concerns and issues. Note, that my skin is dry before diving into my skin results. Not only the masks are pretty budget friendly at 3,00€ for Vichy, they're also comparted in two areas for fresher application. Abroad, you can also find them in bigger, pot sizes. You can find both sizes in all your nearby pharmacies or drugstores. All three have one thing in common - they're perfectly suited for any kind of sensitive skin. All three have different types of mineral to target dehydrated, dull or clogged skin. So many similarites yet so many different occassions...

Nov trend ''multi-masking'' je zajel celotno lepotno sfero kot najbolj genialna ideja pri uporabi različnih mask za različne predele obraza. Vedeti moramo, da živimo v družbi z visokimi pričakovanji in enostavno ni več dovolj le ena obrazna maska. Kljub temu, če boste kombinirali različne maske ali ne, so Vichy Mineralne Maske več kot odlična ideja za nadgradnjo vaše rutine.

Before an evening out...Vichy Quenching Mineral Mask is a perfect prep-up. Skin it makes skin more plump, hydrated and healthy looking with volcanic mineral, you're be all freshed up before skincare and makeup application. It in some way cooling since it has a jelly type of texture due to Vichy mineral water, menthol and glycerin for calming and soothing all skin types. Actually, you can easily use it as an intense moisturiser since you don't have to wash it off.

Pred nanosom ličil in večernim druženjem...je prava izbira Vichy Vlažilna maska za pomiritev kože, saj je odlična, globinska nega za dehidrirano kožo. Kožo ohladi, le-ta pa je po uporabi bolj polna in navlažena. Zahvalimo se lahko glicerinu, mentolu in mineralni vodi Vichy. Njena tekstura v gel obliki ni le priročna, ampak tudi popolna za tople mesece. Maske hkrati ni potrebno spirati - lahko jo uporabite kot intenziven tretma ali gel pred nanosom pudra.

A part of your lazy Sunday cleanse...should be Vichy Pore Purifying Clay Mask, which opens up pores and cleanses impurities like a magnet. The power mineral behind it are basically two white clays, kaolin and bentonite. They both purify, cleanse, soothe and matify your skin. It's a perfect pick for combination or acne skintype, while it's gentle enough to be used on anyone. It has a grey colour and dries off like normal clay masks and you should wash it off, of course. My pores look less pronounced, while I had that squeaky clean feeling. It's a nice treat overall.

Kot del vašega lenobnega, nedeljskega razvajanja...je z lahkoto Vichy Maska z glino za čiščenje por, ki vsebuje dve beli glini, klasičen kaolin in bentonit. Obe glini očistita, osvežita in pomirita kožo, hkrati pa jo malce matirata. Maska je odlična za vse tipe kože, še posebej pa jo priporočam mešani ali nečisti koži. Pore so sicer zmanjšane, vendar nikakor ne izginejo čarobno. Koža je sveža in pripravljena na nadaljnjo nego. Maska se posuši v trdo obliko, zato jo je treba po uporabi sprati. Čudovita za dni, ko imate občutek nečiste kože.

A day before the big event...I use my ultimate pick, Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask. It's packed with vitamin C and fruit acids to make your skin glowy, bright and plump. I had the most success with this one as I'm striving to get more even-toned skin with a bit of glowy effect. It does wonders to my dry parts around nose, while I get that glowy cheek and nose look. I usually save it for special ocassions when I really want to look my best. The skin is gently exfoliated, while natural glowing after this mask. Again, mask should be washed off due to AHA content. Highly recommend this one!

Na dan pomembnega dogodka...posezite po Vichy Maski za sijoč videz kože, ne bo vam žal! Maska je polna vitamina C in AHA kislin, ki nežno, kemično odstranijo odmrle celice, neenakomerno teksturo in suho kožo. Ta je moja najljubša, saj želim več sijaja in enakomernega tena kože. Čudovita je za suhe predele okoli nosu, lička pa zasijejo. To hranim in dokupim samo za posebne priložnosti, ko želim še posebej lep videz kože. Masko je treba po uporabi sprati, sama pa jo najraje nanesem kar uro ali dve pred nanosom ličil. Prav tako ima majhne delce vulkanskih kamnin za mehaničen piling, ni pa ravno tipična ''peel-off'' tekstura. Priporočam, če imate suho ali mešano kožo.

Rimmel has been always competitive with their foundations and lipsticks ever since I've entered the world of UK makeup. And that was far before Rimmel even decided branching through Europe so intensely. Rimmel has both - great, firm launches while some leave me cold-hearted and uninspired. However, I still believe they're best in making mascaras, foundations and lipsticks. I'm really happy to see newer launches such as Fresher Skin foundation, Kate Sculpting Palette and The Only 1 Matte lipstick in my makeup drawers - you should definitely at least quickly scroll down to check swatches, colors and quick but naturally glowy makeup look with only Rimmel products.

Rimmel sem uporabljala že pred leti, še preden je nedavno prišel v naše majhne drogerije. Je večna klasika Velike Britanije, ki nikakor ne razočara s svojimi pudri, šminkami in maskarami. Še zdaj ne morem pozabiti ene izmed njihovih starejših maskar, uporabljam Wake Me Up puder in hkrati imam že kar lepo zbirko njihovih šmink. So izdelki, ki me popolnoma navdušijo, nekatera nova lansiranja pa gredo hitro mimo mene. Ker se naše DM trgovine kar šibijo pod novimi izdelki, bomo tokrat na hitro pregledali vse Rimmel novosti. Rimmel Fresher Skin Foundation (7,99€ for 30ml, drugstores) caught me by surprise with it's beautiful, natural (almost dewy, satin) finish and great performance. Foundation is quite longlasting but still fresh looking and really nicely buildable from sheer to medium coverage. The only thing that still bothers me is the part of my smile wrinkles - foundation slightly settles into face corners. But with a good damp sponge and a little bit of corrections through out the day, I'll be totally fine. It's totally inevitable since I like medium coverage and usually build up 2-3 layers of foundation. It has a strong floral scent and shade 100 Ivory is almost perfect for my NW15 complexion - I used only 3 drops of lightening base. Might be a good match for the summer - it doesn't oxidise, has a neutral undertone like most Rimmel foundations (somewhat more pink and grey tones than Bourjois) and it's not far off to my match. Packaging? I actually love the whole jar look as I can mix in white foundation with ease. I would totally recommend it checking out!

Rimmel Fresher Skin podlaga (7,99€ za 30ml, trenutno v -30% akciji za 20 točk v vseh DM) me je odkrito presenetil. Nikakor nisem pričakovala tako lahkotne teksture in svežega učinka na koži iz majhnega lončka. Ponavadi so pudri v lončku dokaj težki in zelo prekrivni. Fresher Skin je dokaj voden, lepo se sloji in ima lahkotno do srednjo prekrivnost. Uporabljam ga v 2-3 slojih z gobico, medtem ko sem presenečena tudi nad vzdržljivostjo. Puder ostane na obrazu čez cel dan, medtem ko je edina slaba lastnost nabiranje pudra v kotičke smejalnih gubic ali mimiko obraza. Kar pri meni sicer ni poseben fenomen, je pa potreben popravek čez nekaj časa (kakšno uro) po nanosu. Res mi je všeč videz bolj sveže kože, kar lepo pričara s subtilnim, naravnim sijajem. Nič odvečnega, samo koža deluje bolj spočita. Hkrati cenim tudi barvni spekter Rimmel podlag - so manj rumene z več roza ali sivkastega tona kot recimo Bourjois. Nasvetlejši odtenek 100 Ivory mi je skoraj ulit - dodati sem morala le 3 kapljice belega pudra. Barvni odtenek bo super za poletje, hkrati pa lažje mešam podlago z belim pudrom kar v lončku. Prihranila sem minute mučnega mešanja z belim pudrom iz vsakdana.

Rimmel Kate Sculpting Palette in 001 Golden Sands (9,49€, drugstores) will suit most skintones as it has a mixture of cool-toned blush and warm-toned bronzer. The palette is not perfect for sculpting or defining your hollow of the cheeks, but it works as a great all rounder nevertheless. Bronzer, blush and highlighter work nicely together and they all have shimmer particles. Bronzer is quite warm so you'll need a light hand with it, while the highlighter is really subtle. The best part is the blush - a cool pink with dewy, shimmery shine.

Rimmel Kate Sculpting paleta v 001 Golden Sands (9,49€, v vseh DM), ki je najsvetlejši od obeh odtenkov, je hkrati tudi najbolj nenavaden. Hladen roza odtenek rdečila, dokaj temen osvetljevalec in ''šimrast'', topel bronzer je čudna kombinacija, ki dejansko deluje. Z izdelkom zdaleč ne morete delati ''konturinga'' ali oblikovati obraza, lahko pa je uporaben vsakdanji izdelek. Bronzer poživi in otopli poteze, medtem ko osvetljevalec in rdečilo lepo poudarita lička. Vse teksture imajo svetlikajoče delce, zato ne vsebuje mat tekstur. Dejansko je dober izdelek, če ne zahtevate preveč. Le uporabljati ga je potrebno z lahkotno roko, ker je močno pigmentiran in malce praškast.

Rimmel Magnif'eyes Mono eyeshadow in Millionaire (about 5,75€, drugstores) is surprisingly really close to my beloved Burberry Pale Barley. It's like a warm but taupe shade with reflective, subtle shimmer. Perfect for a quick look on entire eyelid space. A no-brainer for everyday to define eyes with a standard, drugstore quality and pigmentation. A bit crumbly but still easy to use. Actually, Rimmel eyeshadow was my first eyeshadow that I totally used up in the past.

Rimmel Magnif'eyes mono senčilo v odtenku Millionaire (okoli 5,75€, v vseh DM) mi je na prvi pogled deloval poznano - seveda, če je pa drogerijska različica zelo poznanega Burberry odtenka Pale Barley. Je tiste vrste senčilo, ki ga enostavno nanesete in z lahkoto zabrišete za enostaven, a definiran izgled oči. Kot da nisem vložila nič časa v izgled, a hkrati deluje. Millionaire je srednja bež z zlatimi delci, ki se lepo zabrišejo. Tekstura ni nič posebnega, dobra za svoj cenovni razred. Pigmentacija je ok, na otip pa je senčilo malce praškasto. Kljub temu, je moje staro Rimmel senčilo eno izmed prvih, katerega sem porabila čisto do konca.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara (about 6-7€, drugstores) has a massive, thick brush that mostly combs through lashes and leaves a natural volume. Again, nothing extraordinary but it's a nice addition if you like layering different mascaras as I do - Scandaleyes will comb through any excessive bits of mascara and add some extra volume and length. Nothing more, nothing less. It's a standard mascara with a big, fat brush.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Maskara (okoli 6-7€, v vseh DM) ima ogromno, klasično krtačko, katera je primerna za razčesavanje in natančen nanos. Maskara le nežno podaljša in doda volumen, nanos je čist in brez grudic. To sicer ni to, kar jaz iščem v maskari, vendar je super podaljšek pri uporabi ostalih maskar. Vedno lepo zgladi videz trepalnic in odstrani odvečne grudice mojega prekomernega nanašanja. Nič več, nič manj.

Rimmel The Only 1 Matte Lipstick in 200 Salute (about 7,99€, drugstores) instantly caught my eye in the drugstore. Petal pink with powdery tones? Yes, please! It's the most flattering shade I've come across in a while and it can actually measure up as a drugstore alternative to Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick. It's just a tad lighter and more rose pink - which is actually even better. Do I dare to say it out loud? I've paired it with Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk on my upper fresh look. They're match made in heaven! Hang on for my next Pillow Talk post, it'll be perfect for shade comparison. Also, the formula is pretty exquisite - matte but comfortable for hours. I'm only not too keen on the watermelon scent.

Rimmel The Only 1 Matte šminka v 200 Salute (7,99€, v vseh DM) je verjetno odkritje, katerega sem se najbolj razveselila. Pudrasto roza s pridihom naravnega tona? JA, prosim! Odtenek 200 Salute ni nič manj čudovit kot sama Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk šminka, ki trenutno ruši rekorde v zaželjenosti. Rimmel 200 Salute je le za dva odtenka svetlejša in bolj pudrasto roza v odtenku, vendar se lepo zlije skupaj s Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Pillow Talk svinčnikom. Si drznem trditi, da je mogoče Salute celo boljša od nove klasike Pillow Talk? We thought this day will never come, which makes the release of Pillow Talk lipstick that more intriguing. The second I've heard about the release on Charlotte Tilbury website, I immediately ordered myself another Pilow Talk product as the iconic Lip Cheat Pillow Talk is already in my collection. Actually, I should be posting the review of Lip Cheat beforehand, but the Pillow Talk lipstick has currently the exclusive status, so you shouldn't count on it for permanent stay. Fingers crossed it will become permanent as it's the most beautiful, flattering nude I've ever seen...

EVERYTHING ABOUT TEXTURE & FORMULA

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution formula is well known by it's satin-matte finish without being overpowering, drying or uncomfortable. It's a perfect synergy of natural satin-matte finish and lovely, natural texture that enhances and beautifies your lips. 3D glowing pigments, lipstick tree and orchid extracts are Charlotte Tilbury's speciality, which actually work without any proper explanation from my side. It's magic in terms of making your lips looking better than before. It's pretty addictive once you try her products, especially lipsticks. Longevity is also a bonus point, as the Matte Revolution lipsticks stay on for 3-5 hours. The scent only reveals warm tones of vanilla. You can read more about formula and shade selection on my Very Victoria lipstick or Secret Salma lipstick. Did I mention that Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are my ultimate favourites?

SHADE COMPARISON WITH ICONIC LIP CHEAT

Truly, Pillow Talk lipstick has the same rose nude tones as the most perfect lipliner ever - Lip Cheat Pillow Talk. It's a fleshy, natural tone that truly enhances your lip line and makes optically bigger lips without looking too rosy, pink or brown. It perfectly mimics natural flesh without looking fake or unnatural. My lips but far better. One thing you have to know about Pillow Talk duo, is that the Pillow Talk lipstick has a slightly different tone overall. It's definitely something I would expect in terms of the shade, but still not 100% the same. Pillow Talk lipstick is a tad more brown and dark compared to Lip Cheat. To properly show you the difference, I've made both swatches of Pillow Talk. I've wanted to make a comparison with MAC lipsticks but the shade seemed like nothing else in my MAC collection. The most similar shade is Viva Glam II with more brown, ashy tones.

Nonetheless, both Pillow Talks make a wonderful pair on anyone. Such a beautiful, fleshy tone is possible only in the Charlotte Tilbury rows. Pillow Talk has something that none of it's alternatives have - I've made a small comparison with Rimmel 200 Salute, which actually lacks that last special spice. If Pillow Talk is your shade of choice, you might want to snap it as soon as you can. You never know what will happen with such a wonderful exclusive. Still, I'm pretty confident to say, that Pillow Talk lipstick will become another iconic product and make that extra space in the permanent line. BeYu Be Sensual Collection

This Spring BeYu brought out chic, sensual and girly collection that plays perfectly with pastels, marbles and new technology products. I have entire collection and let me tell you - it's fantastic in quality, innovation, diversity and colors. A bit of pink but still natural with nude Lip Biggies and gentle Highlighting Powder. I also adore their formula of Sensual Lip Oil and Model Mascara Intense. Overall, I'm really pleasantly surprised. There's much more you need to see! Review of the entire line will be up next and Be Sensual should hit our DM shelves within 2 weeks or so.

L'Oreal Paint it Loud & XFiber

Still, the prize for the most innovative collection goes to L'Oreal Paris. I'm absolutely in love with their new L'Oreal Infaillible Blush Paint palettes as they're nicely pigmented, lightly candy scented and include a gorgeous array of coral or pink blushes. They are all mostly shimmery and really, really unique for the drugstore (think NARS Taj Mahal or Orgasm). My second love are their Lip Paints in Lacquer or Matte finish and either of these have distinct cherry or melon scent. They're not the most longlasting thing but I love comfortable formula that is buildable to your own taste. Matte Lip Paint in Wuthering purple is all over my Instagram by now. L'Oreal False Lash Superstar XFiber mascara is a nice addition as well, if you like fiber mascaras in two steps. More swatches and impressions soon - it's on top of my review list.

Catrice & Essence Update Spring/Summer 2017

Standardly, Essence and Catrice stands have been refreshed for warmer seasons. There are bits I really don't care about and also products, I had to try immediately. I'm currently especially pleased with new Catrice Camouflage Cream Wake Up Effect. It really brightens with it's salmon pink base while it doesn't cake up as a base for concealer. It totally replaced my Skinfood Salmon concealer. Another great novelty is Catrice Cushion Eyeliner, which is pitch black and has lovely longevity. Let's not forget about Lightening Transformer Drops for lightening your foundation. From Essence, I'm intrigued in their new single pan My must haves eyeshadows and Colour Boost nail polish line. Anyone interested into Essence Instant Matte foundation?

New makeup by BeYu, Avon, Essence, Catrice, L'Oreal

Artistry Modern Icon - Spring 2017

Artistry released a collection based upon 2 Shine lipsticks, Double shimmery eyeshadows, Eyebrow Kit and Highlighting Tint. Shine Lipsticks have a nice, pleasant texture that works like a cushion while Highlighting Tint gives a subtle rose-gold glow as a multi-tasking product. Eyeshadows come in a weird, tube packaging but they're still pretty and shimmery. That's all I can say for now, I'm not too fond of eyeshadows. But I love the fact, that Artistry made packaging look ultra chic and modern. The only downside is the price - not sure how the whole Amway thing works, but products are in the same price range as Dior or Clarins.

Avon Mark.

Avon is getting better and better with years, or should I say months. Avon is actually killing it right now with trendy releases and I cannot express my enthusiasm over their lipstick formulas. On top of all, next week they will release a new youthful, unique and sassy line called Mark. For all of you who dare to express your own makeup look and identity. And how modern does their new line look? I mean, perfect for younger and older audience - I'm still obsessing over their Mark lipsticks from the Avon event (which you can check on my Instagram). Avon Mark Gel Shine nail polish in Mauvelous is my dream shade of nail polish - vintage mauve that's still natural. I'm also pleasantly surprised by Magix Face Primer that blurs out imperfections with mousse silicone consistency. And do I dare to spoil your expectations saying there's 29 new shades of lipsticks? Good job, Avon! Mark will be released next week, on 2nd of March 2017 in Slovenia.

Max Factor Rule Breakers - Velvet Mattes lipsticks

Max Factor finally joined the matte lipstick family with new 7 shades of Velvet Mattes Lipsticks. They are all supposedly comfortable but still velvety matte in a finish, that doesn't dry out your lips. And I have to say the lipstick truly acts more like a satin cream rather than drying, clinging matte. Shade 25 Blush survived 5 hours and it's pretty close to Mac All Fired Up. Formula stays pretty creamy with wear, not drying down with hours. I would maybe add a tinge more matte effect or texture, it's still a bit too creamy for my taste.

Pastel marbles, pink tones and illuminating particles are all part of BeYu Be Sensual collection. Neutral and pink eyeshadow palettes come in the cutest little marble tin, while the main highlight goes to Highlighting Powder that's actually baked. Another lovely addition is also Sensual Lip Oil, which is pretty unique for a drugstore brand. Actually, probably the most affordable option to try lip oils. But let's not waste time with pretty words, take a look at each product separately.

Be Sensual Eyeshadow Palettes are both pretty pigmented and have a lovely neutral array of shades. That are actually pretty illuminating and some - even unique. But there's still something bothering me. It's probably the texture since it crumbles when using a brush. Also, I would like to see a smaller packaging. Everyday nudes and romantic pink palette have the perfect mix of mattes and shimmers.

BeYu Model Intense Mascara looked promising since the beginning. I adore BeYu's best selling Beauty Queen Volume Mascarabut I'm still not sure about this one. It's really precise and lengthening but it doesn't hold the curl. My lashes drop and I don't get enough volume. Still, the brush picks up every lash and intensifies the look. It's probably the ''freshly opened mascara effect'' that I'm dealing with, but it will get better or perfect with time as all BeYu mascaras.

BeYu Multicolor Powder Blush in 71 is a light neutral shade, that actually reminds me of Benefit Dallas. Similar to bronzer but with pink undertone and less saturation. It warms and sculpts the face without being overdone or overly pigmented. I much more prefer it to Be Vintage edition. Still slightly powdery but nothing unforgiving since it's so gentle and nicely pigmented for fair skintones. A lovely find in the drugstores.

BeYu Be Sensual Highlighting Powder comes in a much more sophisticated packaging, mine is a sample form. The star of the collection gives lovely glow for every day. It's really subtle but still buildable - a perfect ivory shimmer goodness with rose sheen. It's basically perfect. If you prefer more metallic look, just wet a brush and swipe on your cheeks - I used this technique in the upper look to make it more visible. Also, don't forget marbled highlighters have longer expiration dates and they're baked into individual, unique designs.

Probably first lip oilsin the drugstores. The formula of BeYu Sensual Lip Oil comes in three different shades that transfer translucent. They have the most perfect lip oil texture as they're not sticky, heavy or too glossy. Indeed, they feel like a lightweight oil - similar to coconut oil. They contain jojoba oil, shea butter and vitamin E and smell like sweets. They act as a nourishing lipbalm, while they deliver a bit of watery shine. Personally, I love them even more than other expensive options (I'm talking about Clarins Lip Comfort Oil). If you ever fancied a lip oil, you need to pick one up.

Chubby, chubby sticks. BeYu named them Color Touch Lip Biggie and the name suits them perfectly. Lip Biggies are your glossy-creamy interpretations with lipstick intensity. Three new shades in 92, 56 and 41. The shade 41 confused me as it looks like a perfect berry-winter shade but actually transfers as a sheer, fresh purple. Shade 56 is a creamy version of MAC Brave. They're all super creamy and smell like vanilla ice cream, which makes them even more likable.

Blush palettes, lipsticks and iconic mascara - all new and glamed up? L'Oreal gives no mercy and all new releases look top notch. I'm in love with Infaillible Blush Paints and I'm still swooning over Lip Paints in two different textures. All colours are right up my alley, including red Lip Paint and coral blush palette, which I usually skip. Actually Amber Blush Paint even beat out my usual pink flushes as it has lovely, shimmery NARS kind-of shades.

L'Oreal prevzema vodstvo v naših drogerijah, in to smrtno resno. Novi produkti se z lahkoto primerjajo z višje cenovnimi lepotilnimi izdelki, če jih celo ne premagajo v nekaterih pogledih. Zaljubila sem se v nove L'Oreal Infaillible Blush Paints palete rdečil in še vedno občudujem Lip Paintšminke v tubah. Vsi odtenki so mi pisani na kožo, vključno s sočno neonsko rdečo šminko, ki ponavadi ni moj izbor odtenka. Tudi koralna paleta rdečil mi je močno prirasla k srcu, nekaj odtenkov pa spominja na ikonične NARS odtenke kot so Taj Mahal, Deep Throat ali celo Orgasm. Kljub temu, da sem že dokončno sodila, pa si nujno poglejte še vse odtenke v naših, slovenskih drogerijah. Prav tako so do konec marca vsi L'Oreal izdelki znižani za 30% v DM poslovalnicah.

Both L'Oreal Infaillible Blush Paints have 5 blushers in total, at least one bordering on a highlighter side. All blush shades are shimmery and both palettes preform as they claim - blushers are truly longwearing and highly pigmented. My favourite part is also the scent as both blush palettes smell like cherry candy. Not too strong, just to make the experience that more delightful. Actually, I don't love them. I adore them! L'Oreal Infaillible Blush Paint in Amber has the most gorgeous array of corals, nudes and rose peaches. Two shades really remind me of Nars Taj Mahal (the darkest, scary looking orange) and Nars Deep Throat or Orgasm. All 5 of them have pretty golden or rose-gold shimmer for a subtle glow. Blush Paint Pinks has cool, light pinks, a nude highlighter, two brighter neutral pinks and one shimmery coral pink. It's not as shimmery as Amber version. On top of all, each shade has a quirky name like Despinkable Me, Fuchsia Afterhours, Indian Cruise. At about 13,99€ they're a real steal in drugstores and I'm sure you can get them on offer sooner rather than later.

L'Oreal jih ponuja kot intenzivne, dolgoobstojne rešitve. Obe obljubi sta resnični, saj rdečila ostanejo na obrazu cel dan, potrebna pa je lahkotna roka ob nanosu. Verjeli ali ne, obožujem dejstvo, da sta paletki odišavljeni s prijetnim češnjevim vonjem. Vonj po češnjevih bombonih sicer ni močen, lahko pa zmoti občutljive noske. Jaz paletki preprosto obožujem! L'Oreal Blush Paint v Amber vsebuje najbolj čudovite odtenke toplih mareličnih, nevtralnih in svetlikajočih tonov. Najtemnejši oranžen odtenek spominja na Nars Taj Mahal, dva svetlejša pa celo na Nars Deep Throat in Orgasm. Vseh 5 odtenkov ima zlate svelikajoče delce, ki so opazni na soncu. L'Oreal Blush Paint v Pinks pa ima tone fuksije, hladne roza in živahne lubenice. Najtemnejša odtenka sta malce manj svetlikajoča in imata bolj mat teksturo. Vsi odtenki so tudi domiselno poimenovani - Despinkable Me, Fuchsia Afterhours, Indian Cruise. Paletke stanejo okoli 13,99€, trenutno so v DM poslovalnicah znižane za 30%.

US residents are long off familiar with L'Oreal Lip Paints in various shades. As usual, we got Lip Paints (about 8€) a bit late but certainly a more improved versions. While US market has only creamy versions, Europe is lucky enough to enjoy Lacquer and Matte formula. Our country is limited only to 6 colours but I'm sure you can find more in bigger countries. They come as lipgloss tubes with a handy applicator that easily controls the amount of product. While Lip Paint Matte have a fruity, cherry scent, Lip Paint Lacquer have classic L'Oreal melon scent. Also, the texture is not that further apart. Matte version have a moussey formula that's easily buildable and Lacquer have a creamy finish.

Medtem ko Američani že nekaj časa uporabljajo L'Oreal Lip Paints, smo tokrat pridobili novosti tudi mi. Bi lahko celo rekli, da smo dobili izboljšano verzijo? Medtem ko Američani poznajo samo eno formulo, lahko mi ustvarjamo s dvema, Matte in Lacquer. V Sloveniji so tako trije odtenki za vsako formulo, Lip Paints pa imajo priročno tubo in super aplikator.

L'Oreal Lip Paint Matte are not your regular matte, liquid lipstick with full opacity. They're like mousse that is opaque with 2-3 applications and it's still super comfortable. Although they fade rather quickly, 2-3 hours, the stronger colors leave a unified stain. Hollywood Beige, a peachy pink nude, disappears within two hours of wear. Bolder colors like Wuthering purple (true cool purple) and Red actually (like Mateja described, multicolored red with punchy coral and pink tones) survive 4-5 hours but fading in intensity.

L'Oreal Lip Paint Matte (okoli 8€, trenutno znižane v DM) niso klasična, tekoča mat rdečila. Imajo nenavadno ''mousse'' teksturo, ki ne izsuši ustnic, hkrati pa se lahko lepo sloji. Lip Paint Matte niso 100% prekrivna, ampak so potrebni 2-3 sloji. Tekstura je satenasta in veliko bolj prijetna kot pri večini mat šmink. Šminka obstane, vendar enakomerno blediže po dveh urah. Močnejše barve kot so Wuthering purple (klasična hladna vijola) in Red Actually (sočna rdeča z roza in koralnimi toni, Mateja jo lepo opiše), bledijo enakomerno veliko počasneje. Matte linija ima močan vonj po češnjevih bombončkih.

L'Oreal Lip Paint Lacquer have a nice, creamy feel and they're pretty longlasting too. They act like normal lipstick and they're opaque in one swipe. I'm still not totally comfortable wearing Dark River, a blackened purple, but a good lipliner can solve the problem. Don't get me wrong, they're pretty steady and don't transfer as easily as lipglosses. Still, I don't trust darker shades. Other two nudes are just fine, an easy every day pick.

L'Oreal Lip Paint Lacquer ima prijetno, kremasto teksturo ki ne zbledi zlahka. Imajo intenziteto prave šminke, nanašajo pa se kot bleščila. Kljub temu, da temnemu odtenku Dark River ne zaupam popolnoma, se Lacquer lepo obdržijo na mestu. Vseeno priporočam svinčnik za ustnice, za vsak slučaj. Oba svetla odtenka sta čudovita za vsakodnevno uporabo. Lacquers imajo klasičen, melonast vonj po L'Oreal šminkah.

Highly impressed with Lip Paints and Blush Paints, I'm not too sure about new version of L'Oreal False Lash Superstar XFiber (about 15,99€). I loved their dual ended system in their previous Superstar mascara, but this doesn't do anything spectacular. XFibers are meant to be special fibers that elongates lashes even further. I much more prefer the primer, white base to this. Also, the brush in the first half has a clumsy shape. It's an okay mascara but I need to put a lot of effort to achieve my casual spidery lashes.

Imam le eno nevtralno izkušnjo z novo L'Oreal False Lash Superstar XFiber maskaro (okoli 15,99€, trenutno znižana v DM), ki me še ni čisto prepričala. Vzljubila sem njihovo predhodnico False Lash Superstar maskaro z enakim sistemom, le da je vsebovala beli primer. XFiber različica temelji na dveh koncih, eden z normalno maskaro in drug s kolagenskimi vlakni za podaljšanje. Maskara deluje in doda volumen, vendar pogrešam malce več ''WOW'' učinka. Vlakna ne naredijo velike razlike, mogoče pa se bo maskara izkazala na dolgi rok. Starejše so, boljše so.

Honey and dry skin equals perfection? That might the right calculation if we throw Melvita skincare into the mix. As all organic skincare, the texture needs some time to absorb but once it penetrated through the skin layer, you can feel comfortable nourishment all day long. It helps with tugging and redness, since it soothes and calms. Why thyme honey? It was clinically tested to restore hydrolipidic film, a part of the skin which protects and holds moisture. It also helps with collagen renewal and soothes.

Ne le, da nova krema za obraz diši božansko medeno, tudi učinkuje kot dobro utečena urica. Melvita Ultrahranljiva pomirjajoča krema za obraz (38,60€ za 50ml, melvita.si) je bogata in ekstremno kremna mešanica medu, ki daje koži občutek balzama. Je nekoliko gostejša in bolj hranljiva kot tipična krema za vlaženje in nudi nego ter hranljiv učinek skozi cel dan. Občutek na koži je fantastičen tudi ure po nanosu, saj še vedno občutim blažilno tančico. Kot vsaka organska stvaritev, tudi ta krema potrebuje malce več časa da se vpije. Pomaga blažiti rdečičo, zategovanje in suh občutek na koži. Zakaj timijanov med? Ker je klinično dokazan kot najbolj učinkovit med za obnovitev hidrolipinega plašča kože in povečanje kolagena.

The scent is truly pleasant but still subtle, which is a big factor for me in organic skincare. I'm sick of all those citrusy scents, which annoy the hell out of me. It's really refreshing to try balmy, sweet scented (I can also detect acacia) moisturiser that's appropriate for all ages and all times. It's nourishing enough to be used as a night cream, while also creates a natural film for the daytime. If you're skin is constantly dry, cracked or dull, I would highly suggest it. It has Ecocert approval along with two other bits in the line -Comfort Cleansing Milk and lighter Soothing Comforting Cream.

Sure, I've had some one night stand ''relationships'' and crushes with different kind of perfume notes, but none has spoke to me like new Cartier Baiser Fou.

It's passionate, reckless and sweet - everything in one bottle called Cartier Baiser Fou. Baiser Fou or Crazy Kiss, is the perfect way to describe this scent. ''Delicious accents evoke the aroma of kisses with lipsticks'' and Eau de Parfum truly perfectly captures that scent. The creator Mathilde Laurent choose rare orchid as the main note, which is surprisingly, as we usually cannot detect orchids by scent. Baiser Fou starts as a really fresh, blackberry kind of scent due to rasberry notes and evolves into indulgent, gourmand scent along with vanilla and white chocolate. It's pretty clear Cartier doesn't like to reveal their additional secret ingredients that make it all work. Also, Cartier perfumes don't evolve as usual pyramid perfumes but it rather works in a horizontal way. I won't even start on longevity, the perfume is highly concentrated and potent for many hours. Be careful with application.

Lost in floods of scents, I've finally found what I really like. Berry and fresh notes, mixed with a touch of gourmand vanilla or any other sweet note. The best way to describe it in a simple way - a balanced scent between vanilla, classic retro lipstick scent and Lush Comforter bubble bar. Sounds like a perfect match for a lipstick junkie like I am, right?

Če bi čisto enostavno opisala Baiser Fou, bi bila to mešanica vanilije, klasične retro šminke s cvetličnim vonjem in vonj črnega ribeza, ki spominja na Lush Comforter penečo kopel. I get this question all the time. And the answer is pretty clear. Pupa Milano Matt Lip Fluid is the most wonderful full-on matte liquid lipstick that's not only pretty, but also extremely comfortable. Say goodbye to crumbly, drying textures that don't work on long hour schedule. I'm Pupa Matt Lip Fluid has been a firm winner for a year by now and it's still on top of my list. The only unfortunate thing is, that I take it for granted too easily.

Pupa Milano Matt Lip Fluid is a straightforward matte lipstick, texture bordering between mousse and liquid form. It's not sticky, crumbly or heavy - but rather pleasant in formula with a full matte effect. I can wear it for hours, although I'm pretty sensitive to dry and crackling formula. Also, Matt Lip Fluid basically survive anything and anyone without making your lips looking a dessert raisin. I just can't stand overly drying formula that makes my lips super wrinkly, small and dry. Matt Lip Fluid has a subtle scent after soap bubbles - ah, brings back childhood memories.

My shade is indeed, red. Fire Red 050 is a bright, bright red with orange tones and looks super fresh, fun and outstanding. You'll be noticed in minutes and compliments will fly off easily. I had no trouble with application but I still like to use a corresponding lipliner to create a sharp line. Fire Red is another red that made the cut and quite frankly - one of the first I reach for.

The only not-so-great part is the price. Pupa Milano Matt Lip Fluid are about 15,99€ for 4ml and it's not the most affordable drugstore thing. However, you'll be surprised how comfortable and easy wearing can liquid lipsticks be! It even overcomes my luxury picks and I'm eyeing a neutral mauve 013 Sable Brown for months now. Pupa Milano is available in selected Muller stores in Slovenia.

Happy, pink and playful - it's all that Essence have been for 15 years! Crazy, right? Time flies so fast and I can still remember the day I bought my first Essence lipstick. And mascara. And eyeliner. Basically, I had it all in my teenage years. And I still use my holy grail Essence items to this day. Not to mention regular updates - I can never pass their shelves without trying at least one new thing. So yeah Essence, I wish you a wonderful, pinky celebration and even more to come. Yup, they've picked the right girl for the right product. It's the first thing that went through my mind when I opened my Clarins goodie bag. It's like faith, me and my new Clarins Mission Perfection Yeux. I suffer from terrible under-eye circles with blue shadows, which are even more visible with a line of freckles on my cheeks. In my mid-20's and with dry skin, I sure get dehydrated skin around eyes. Which is not ideal, especially in the age of ''growing my first, expression wrinkles''. Quite frankly, I get dry unpleasant feeling really often so I need to care for my eye area religiously - every day.

Although I still haven't settled on my night eye routine (I want a rich, nourishing eye cream), I can firmly announce Clarins Mission Perfection Yeux as my new holy companion throughout the day. It's a multi-tasker that honestly works in every aspect. I want correcting and hydrating feeling that's not sticky or overwhelming with my regular concealer. And here it is, rolling in my handbag and makeup drawer with confidence. Not only it covers all kinds of circles with unique yellow tint (suitable for all skintypes if topped with normal concealer) but it promises to diminish the appearance of dark circles with regular use. What I especially love, is the fresh glowy look and instant relief of dry skin. My eye area feels and looks nourished before any kind of heavy concealer.

Here I'm demonstrating the application and effect of Clarins Mission Perfection Yeux. The first picture is without any concealer and corrector, I've only used a layer of light/medium coverage foundation. Dark circles are still showing, although the main blue tinge was hidden with foundation.

I can't walk around with a yellow tinge under my eyes, so the best way is to cover a layer of Clarins Mission Perfection Yeux with normal concealer. I'm using my Clarins Instant Concealer 01. Everything looks much brighter and even more healthy, glowing. Goodbye for a day, my little micro wrinkles!

Ker ne morem hoditi po svetu s rumenimi podočnjaki, je najboljša tehnika slojenje. Preko Clarins Mission Perfection Yeux sem nanesla še dodaten sloj kožnega korektorja Clarins Instant Concealer 01, ki vse lepo zakrije. Predel izgleda veliko bolj sijoč, negovan in manj opazen. Prav tako je površina optično izboljšana, zato adijo mikro gubice za en dan!

Although it can't hide the sunken surface of your dark circles, Clarins Mission Perfection still covers and moisturizes your dark circles wonderfully. It's a neat little invention, which I probably wouldn't discover on my own. But since it's already here, I'm enjoying it more than I've ever expected. It comes with 15ml and costs around 46,00€ on all Clarins counters.

Čeprav izdelek ne more prekriti vdrtosti in površine podočnjakov, vsekakor lepo zakrije moder ton. Obraz je takoj videti pomlajen in manj utrujen. Mission Perfection Yeux je super izum, katerega bi verjetno spregledala. Vendar če ga že imam, ga bom tudi preizkusila. In na moje presenečenje, ga uporabljam veliko več kot sem pričakovala. Izdelek vsebuje 15ml in stane okoli 46,00€ na vseh Clarins prodajnih mestih v Muellerju, Nami, Maxiju in Kompas Shopu.

It's time to bring out those vivid lipsticks we've all been saving up for Spring time. In fact, I have several different beauty items that tend to crawl on the surface of my makeup pile, when the air gets warmer.

Firstly, your eye will probably set on my lipstick picks. Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Deliciously Shiny Lipstick in 002 Pink Tie is just too good at giving that perfect lip glow in the most romantic season. I've been already intensely writing about it previous season. Still, it's one of my favourite high-end lip treat. A more intense version of creaminess is Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Fig, which is not your usual spring pick. Indeed, it's a lovely mauve with violet tones that manages to brighten your face nonetheless.

Speaking about eyeshadows, I mostly go all in with proper shimmer or use a wash of creamy shadow. A light camel with tiny specks of gold is my all time favourite eye colour from H&M Colour Essence Eye Cream in Champers. Not only it looks stunning on it's own, it also has a lovely creamy finish that lasts. You should definitely check it out, it's been too long. On the opposite, Aritaum Shine Fix Eyes are probably the most potent thingy of shimmer and glitter. It's a Korean item that never fail to impress. Only a swipe with your finger into the creamy-dry texture and you're ready to shine.

My year round holy grail is Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. Several tubes of this magic served me so nicely! It moisturizes, thightens the skin and gives lit-from-within glow. Truly a magical multi-tasker I can't get enough off. Probably my favourite anti-age beauty item of all time. As for the base, I like to wear light and dewy coverage. Lancome Miracle Cushion makes your skin look and feel beautiful. Fresh start of the day while cushion compact makes it travel friendly. I'm only bothered by ratio of amount (only 15g) and price tag. I'm having terribly dry hands lately and L'Occitane always helps to sort out skin things like that. Although my favourite formula is still classic Shea Butter, I'm enjoying their new Terre de Lumiere fragrance. It's warm and cozy but still sweet like honey and based around lavender.

Ne govorim samo o šminkah, čeprav le-te kar lovijo vaše poglede. Še zdaleč najljubša je Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire šminka v odtenku 002 Pink Tie. Sočen odtenek mi zlahka poživi obraz, medtem pa sladek vonj isto imenovanega parfuma razvaja moja čutila. O njej sem že pisala tukaj, ne pozabite pa preveriti nekaj novosti na Guerlain Facebook strani. Ob boku ji stoji Too Faced Melted šminka v odtenku Melted Fig, ki ni klasična izbira. Vseeno, ''mauve'' odtenek s pridihom vijolične lepo poudari svetli ten.

Če že izbiram med senčili, ponavadi izberem vse ali skoraj nič. Govorim o H&M kremnem senčilu Champers, ki je čudovite kamelje-bež z zlatimi delci. Enostaven nanos in hkrati zdrži čez cel dan. Toplo priporočam, prevečkrat spregledan izdelek na H&M poličkah. Druga izbira so bakrene bleščice s kremno teksturo, ki so verjetno najbolj sijoče bleščice v moji zbirki. Že eno leto me preseneča korejski Aritaum Shine Fix Eyes, ki enostavno ne sme manjkati ob večerih.

Najpomembnejša, koža, pri meni tokrat sije v naravni svetlobi. Od Clarins Beauty Flash Balm se ne ločim niti za sekundo, saj je najbolj vsestranski, negovalni izdelek za mojo kožo. Navlaži, doda sijaj in naredi majhen ''lifting'' obraza z nežno masažo. Ta je že dolgoletna stalnica, ki je ne spustim. Kot piko na i najraje nanesem lahkotne podlage, ki le optično izboljšajo mojo polt. Odlično formulo ima Lancome Miracle Cushion, ki je prav tako priročna za potovanje. Moti me le razmerje cene in količine (le 15g). Obenem, v tem času izkušam zelo suhe in hrapave roke, kar je zame nenavadno. Pri tem mi pomaga kdo drug kot L'Occitane. Čeprav nimam na zalogi moje najljubše Karitejeve kreme za roke, mi pomaga krema z novim vonjem Terre de Lumiere. Ima visok delež kariteja, obenem pa zelo prijeten in topel vonj. Skoraj domač, saj je meden in nežen, z dotikom prave sivke.

Probably not, but it's what society and beauty brands want us to believe. We all have flaws and imperfections no matter how much we want to conceal or get rid of them. It's inevitable. We're only humans with pores and random pigmentation that allows our skin to ''breath'' and protect itself. It's not a coincidence that I'm addressing two main ''skin issues'' of modern society: enlarged pores and hyperpigmentation. It's something we shouldn't have yet most of us have at least one. But don't get yourself down by my words, I still believe you can slightly minimize imperfections on all areas.

It's renewed Vichy Idealia that gives me glimpse of hope. Vichy Idealia targets uneven skintone, micro wrinkles, skin glow and skin texture. What really sets apart this new line from old Vichy Idealia, is newly added ingredients such as bluberry polyphenol and fermented black tea. The packaging matches the ingredients perfectly, right? Testing it for almost 2 months, I'm intrigued by their new addition Vichy Idealia Peeling (100ml for 25€, pharmacy). It's the heart of collection, as it truly restores radiance and perfects skin texture with fruit acids (AHAs). I love what AHA as chemical exfoliator does to my dry skin with hyperpigmentation and enlarged pores around my nose area. Many of my relatives even noticed and pointed out a difference on skin - it finally glows! It's safe to say that my dry, flaky areas are gone and texture looks even. I'm really happy to finally see an affordable AHA emulsion on our pharmacy shelves. Vichy Idealia Energizing Day Cream (50ml for 28,60€, pharmacy) helps to top off initial overnight glow. It's light and balmy, while adding extra layer of healthy looking skin. Which makes it perfect as a makeup base. A mild version of 3% kombucha and AHAs is also lightly scented (similar to L'Occitane Pivoine line).

Novo linijo loči od starejše Vichy Idealia le nekaj dodatnih sestavin, kot so polifenoli borovnic in fermentiran črni čaj za antioksidativen učinek. Tudi embalaža je spremenjena po samem navdihu temnih sestavin. Lepo, kajne? Čeprav je Vichy dokaj estetska in odišavljena znamka, ki ni najbolj orientirana v naravne sestavine (in vas to ne moti), se pri njej najde ogromno dobrih izdelkov. Občudujem nov dodatek liniji, Vichy Idealia Piling (100ml za 25€, v lekarnah) ki je poln sadnih kislin (AHA) za nežen tekoči piling pred nanosom nočne nege. Končno je tudi v Sloveniji cenovno ugoden kemičen piling, katere smo morale naročati preko spleta (khm Pixi Glow). Moja suha koža z hiperpigmentacijo ima izboljšano teksturo, suhi predeli pa so bolj gladki. Prav tako je po skoraj 2 mesecih opazilo moj nov sijaj kar nekaj bližnjih oseb. Po nočnem pilingu, zjutraj uporabim Vichy Idealia dnevno kremo (50ml za 28,60€, v lekarnah) ki je odlična baza za ličila. Krema je skoraj žametna in lahkotna, kožo optično olepša. Prav tako ima 3% kombuče in majhen delež AHA za vzdrževanje sijaja.

Fluffier than bunnies and soft as kittens? It's no secret I'm a huge fan of Sigma brushes. You've already meet my final staples here andhere but there's no stop to Sigma imagination. Contouring is getting replaced by strobing and highlighting, which brings need of tools for all those gorgeous highlighters. Sigma answers with new Highlight Expert Brush Set, containing 3 highlighting brushes that are also sold separately on Sigma website. F03 High Cheekbone Highlighter is a small but precise buddy for really intense highlighting effect. While F37 Spotlight Duster, egg shaped soft brush, adds a touch of natural glow for everyday use. It's my favourite and even beats Tapered Face brush with 10$ lower price and more softness. Indeed, F56 Accentuate Highlighter is the weirdest of them all - flat and short like a contouring brush. Surprisingly, it work wonders with rainbow highlighters! It shifts the color on your cheek like no else. Of course, it's that kind of highlight you can barely use for Instagram or evening party. All 3 brushes are synthetic with Sigmax or Sigmatech fibers which give the impressions of natural softness. No bunny or animal was harmed when making these brushes, which is a bonus point.

They are all super soft and Spotlight Duster, my favourite, truly feels like natural hair (without any cruelty). I can't say all 3 are necessities and must haves, although each brings something else to the highlighting vanity. I'm totally in love with some bits I've picked up recently - so much, I need to do a special favourites post that's not in my custom.''Less is more'' is my current lead in all departments, especially makeup. ''Capsule makeup collection'' seems such a great idea to me, but in proper blogging quantities. I probably won't even mention products I don't use, right? I've been religiously decluttering my drawers and rather buying 100 of drugstore lipsticks, I focus on luxury bits that highlight my day. I think I'm getting mature, don't I?
Mon Guerlain perfume is a perfect example of what I'm saying. Brings out a classic woman with a modern twist, so I truly don't feel the need for other perfumes. A definite warm luxury elixir evokes my new sense of scent. Heartwarming vanilla and sandalwood are perfectly mixed with sensual jasmine and floral Carla lavender. Along with sweet Cartier Baiser Fou, this is my new best signature.

Speaking of my, my best new buy was Too Faced Natural Love palette. All 30 shades are smooth, longlasting and easy to work with. From dreamy pinks, warm neutrals and to shimmery smokes, it has traditional Natural Eyes, Natural at Night and Natural Matte shades along with some exclusives. I can finally dig in and try Too Faced classics I've been eyeing since the beginning of my blogging. Review will be up soon. It's time to dig out my Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle in Lychee/Opal, hybrid of famous Shimmering Skin Perfector and Beach Tint. It was my last year's summer go-to as it brings out natural glowing cheeks. Mine has a lovely flushed pink with golden opal veining and lychee scent. The dip is real. For lip picks, I've been enjoying Marc Jacobs Role Play lipstick and Kiko Everlasting Colour Lipliner 405. Kiko is definitely not a luxury brand but it certainly feels like it. Lipliner has the most glamorous looking pink mauve that can pair any nude lipstick. ''Not so usual'' is the new Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil with minty colour and flavour. While I wasn't too keen on Raspberry, I'm absolutely adoring Mint! It still has sticky-oil formula that nourishes and lasts on the lips, but added refreshing mint flavour makes everything much more pleasant and nice. I re-apply it several times a day, making me feel like I chewed on sweet mint bubblegum. Yum!

Mon Guerlain dišava (Muller, Beautique & Nama) je klasičen primer začetka moje kapsulne zbirke, ker zadovolji čute bolj kot vsi moji ostali parfumi. Guerlain dišavne mojstrovine so sam vrh, na katerega se lahko vzpneš le po dobrem treniranju čutnic. Je točno to, kar sem dolgo pričakovala - ženska dišava z modernim preobratom in skrivnostnimi plastmi, ki na vsaki koži zadišijo drugače. Je topel eliksir vanilije in sandalovine, ki otopli srce, medtem ko čuten jasmin in sveža Carla sivka poskrbita za edinstveno presenečenje. Določen spekter senčil je izzvet iz klasičnih paletk kot so Natural Eye, Natural at Night in Natural Matte, medtem pa so dodani tudi novi odtenki. Sama sem jo našla v majhni Sephori v Torri d'Europa in toplo priporočam kakšen izlet v Trst. Becca Shimmer Souffle (Cultbeauty.co.uk) je že stalno rdečilo od lanskega poletja, saj je odlična kombinacija tekočega osvetljevalca Opal in kremnega rdečila Beach tint Lychee. Moj obraz lepo zasije, hkrati pa deluje sveže in zdravo. Luknja v izdelku nazorno pokaže mojo ljubezen do Becce. Prav tako trenutno uživam v skupni uporabi Marc Jacobs Role Play šminke in Kiko Everlasting Colour 405 (kikocosmetics.com) svinčnika za ustnice. Čeprav je Kiko svinčnik cenovno ugoden izdelek, je tekstura čisto primerljiva z dražjimi znamkami. Odtenek 405 je edinstvena roza z vijoličnim podtonom, ki je še vedno v mejah nude odtenka. Lepo zaokroži ali spremeni vsako svetlejšo šminko. Nič kaj nevtralen pa ni na prvi pogled Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil (Muller, Beautique & Nama). To novo olje za ustnice z okusom Mint je naravnost čudovito, saj poleg dokaj goste teksture doda še svežino minta, ki traja. Ustnice lepo navlaži za nadaljnjo šminko ali pa doda malce sijaja. Kot bi ravno prežvečili sladek mint žvečilni gumi. Njam!

Korean products are the best. As you might know from my Beginner's Guide to Korean Cosmetics that my favourite brand is Etude House. Not only because it's super cute and girly, but it also delivers pretty solid quality items. I usually shop Korean products on Jolse. Although I'm generally pleased with Etude House makeup, I have mixed feelings toward Etude House Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack (10,38€ on Jolse) in Strawberry. It's targeted for dry skin and it has a jelly type of consistency with small bubble tea beads. Sleeping mask is slightly sticky and you can actually sniff the alcohol - but still keeps my skin somehow locked with previously added moisture. I like to apply it as a final layer before all my serums, toners and light creams before bed. It's not my favourite skincare thingy but I do enjoy it's appearance.

Next up is their classic Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Talk (7,98$ on Jolse) - I choose BE101 in Chiffon finish. Color itself is a brilliant mixture of brown, rosy red and nude. Actually it's strongly similar to expensive Dior Rouge Matte Lipstick in 772 Matte Classic shade. It's a no brainer shade that compliments all skintones, while the texture is slightly more velvety satin than totally matte. The quality of the lipstick is easily comparable to other european drugstore alternatives. And let's not talk about fruity bubblegum scent, yum!

My favourite discovery is Etude House Play 101 Stick (5,99$ on Jolse) in number 13 Rose Gold. These multipurpose sticks can be used as blushers, cream eyeshadows or even lipsticks. Number 13 is a lovely light pink with golden sheen, a more wearable version of Nars Orgasm blush. Cream blends like a dream and sets into a more velvety finish that's not sticky or overly creamy. I'm definitely interested in their Stick Foundation too. I'm totally gonna abuse this product in summer for that ''baby doll glow'' on my cheeks.

How it works on my dry skin?

Moisturizer is a pretty solid thingy, I guess. It actually delivers smooth looking skin without being overly greasy or heavy. It's a perfect summer pick if you're not too fond of warm weather, but you still want some intense moisture. For dry skin like mine, it's definitely not enough in colder months. I love to combine it with different oils or serums for extra boost but I find a better match in their Vinosource line (Moisture Recovery Cream). This will be perfect for combination and normal skin that seeks for antioxidant shield.

Kako deluje na mojo suho kožo?

Kljub temu, da imam dokaj suho kožo tudi poleti, sem nad VineActiv kremo proti gubam presenečena. Čeprav ima lahkotno in izredno mazljivo teksturo, je krema ravno dovolj za poletne mesece. Namreč, tekstura se hitro vpije in ni pregosta, vendar za njo ostane občutek mehkobe in navlaženosti. Če sovražite težke dnevne kreme čez poletje, je ta super izbira. Vendar v ostalih sezonah ne bo dovolj negovalna za suho kožo. Sama jo slojim s serumi in olji, kar je ravno dovolj. Še vedno sem bolj navdušena nad Caudalie Vinosource Moisture Recovery kremo. Bi bila pa odlična izbira za normalno do mešano kožo, ki potrebuje še dodaten ščit pred okoljem in prvimi gubicami.

Why YES?

It's light but effective, the moisture lingers on your skin without a doubt. For hot summer months, it's a perfect pick for normal/combination skin. You can truly feel the luxury of natural ingredients and well-thought texture that blends like a dream. Scent is refreshing as most of Caudalie products - slightly bittery refreshing as vineyards.

Why NO?

If you're looking for a daily moisturizer that really nourishes your skin, this will be too light. It's a light layer of moisture and antioxidants but you'll need at least 2-3 more products to get fully nourished and plumped skin. I can't say I notice much of a difference in my skin glow, but skin certainly feels much softer. Still, I need more!

Sestavine so odlične, prav tako pa ima značilen Caudalie vonj - malce trpek in osvežilen kot polja vinogradov. Prav tako ščiti pred okoljskimi dejavniki z antioksidanti, kar velikokrat spregledamo. Je super baza za jutranjo rutino pred ličili. Količina 40 ml bo več kot dovolj za poletne mesece.

Zakaj NE?

Če iščete intenzivno kremo za nego suhe kože, potem tale tuba ne bo dovolj. Potrebovali boste še dodatna dva produkta iz linije, če želite popolno nego. Povečanje naravnega sijaja nisem ravno opazila, priznam pa, da koža izgleda in deluje bolj mehko na otip.

This product will blow your mind. I've seen it all - from bamboo lipsticks, unicorn lipsticks up to dual ombre lipsticks. But nothing could prepare me for new Artdeco Ombre 3 Lipstick...

It's fun, it's easy and it's a ''pretty god damn'' good lipstick in terms of formula. I absolutely adore formula that glides like butter but still calms itself after several minutes. Thankfully, I won't need to bother with additional application in hot summer months as it leaves a gorgeous stain afterwards. Quick, easy and comfortable at the same time. I'm a lipstick snob but I can't seem to get rid of Artdeco Ombre Lipstick from my everyday makeup drawer. It's that good, seriously. The main point of Ombre Lipstick - 3 or 4 ways of ombre creations seemed a bit gimmicky to me. Frankly, I do mix my 33 Violet Vibes into a normal lipstick for every day. However, you can get 3 different ombre effects with only 1 lipstick. Cool, right?

Ta izdelek vas bo osupnil. Videla sem že vse - od bambusovih, samorogovih in vse do dvojnih ''ombre''šmink. Ampak nič me ni pripravilo za novo krasotico, ki se imenuje Artdeco Ombre šminka...

Je zabavna, lahkotna in prekleto dobra šminka, ki ima božansko formulo. Teksturo in občutek šminke na ustnicah naravnost obožujem (ali pa sem že naveličana suhih mat šmink?), saj se topi kot dobro dodelano maslo. Obenem pa se ustali v nekaj minutah in ni preveč kremna. Prav tako sem rešena ponovnega nanosa v tej poletni vročini, saj pustijo Ombre šminke prav lep stain učinek. Hitro, preprosto in udobno je moje vodilo, kljub temu da sem lahko ''šminkerska snobinja''. Porabila sem jo že ogromno, kar ponavadi ni pogosto pri takšni količini šmink. Ampak glaven atribut ni formula, ampak barven razpon. Z njo lahko ustvarite 3-4 ombre učinke, kar me sprva ni ravno navdušilo. In odkrito, uporabljam mojo 33 Violet Vibes večinoma kot normalno šminko. Ker pa vem, da vas zanima učinek, sem pripravila 3 različne videze z le 1 šminko.

I demonstrated 2 ombre effects - inwards and outwards. The dual flip ombre just didn't work well with baby pink and strong purple. However, you can get a much better ''double ombre'' with other corresponding shades here. I need to emphasize only one more thing. The ombre effect won't last long except if you don't move your lips, which is basically impossible. Still, I did notice Artdeco recommends using their Magic Fix to seal the pigments in place. Demonstrirala sem 2 ombre učinka - navznoter in navzven. Dvojnega ''flip'' ombre učinka sem se izognila, ker enostavno ni najlepši na pogled. Čeprav je čudovit pri ostalih bolj premišljenih odtenkih tukaj. Prav tako se morate zavedati da ombre učinek ne ostane dolgo na ustnicah, ampak ga je potrebno utrditi z Artdeco Magic Fix. Kljub temu, je zame zvezda formula, ki je polnjena z arganovim oljem, liči izvlečkom in vanilijevim vonjem. Artdeco šminke so na voljo na spletni strani in v Mullerju.

WHY?

One would think I would get bored of Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvets by now, but it's only the opposite. The more I try, the more I like Bourjois. Rouge Edition Velvets are cushiony soft and slightly moussey in texture. While the plastic smell mixed with melon isn't the most pleasing feature, I can easily forgive that only downfall. The price (about 14€) is not brilliant either, but totally worth the drugstore splurge. Frankly, you can easily find it on discount. Speaking of texture, it's truly kiss-proof but still ultra comfortable for a velvety matte lipstick. I get easily irritated by other dry matte formula, but Bourjois has the perfect balance. There won't be any crumbling, crackling or drying. It's my safe choice when I have everyday errands (6+ hours) or fancy family lunch. Marsikdo bi si mislil, da se bom ob ogromni količini novih šmink že zdavnaj naveličala stare dobre Bourjois Rouge Velvet formule, vendar je učinek ravno nasproten. Več kot preizkušam, bolj ugotavljam, da je popolna formulaže ustvarjena. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet šminke so po teksturi žametne na ustnicah, hkrati pa malce spominjajo na ''mousse''. Šminka potrebuje nekaj minut, da se posuši v satenast občutek, potem pa postane praktično neprebojna. Kljub temu ohrani malce vlažnosti in ustnic ne izsušuje. Je moja varna izbira za vsakodnevne obveznosti (6+ ur) ali za posebno družinsko kosilo. Bledi zelo enakomerno in počasi. Čeprav plastičen vonj po meloni ni najboljša lastnost, vonj hitro izgine po nanosu. Cena je pri okoli 14€ kar visoka, vendar vredna investicije. Trenutno jih lahko najdete znižane v DM poslovalnicah, vključno z vsemi 6 novimi nude odtenki. Primerjavo z ostalimi mat šminkami si lahko preberete v mojistarejši objavi tukaj. It's true, I got an email directly from Orbico Beauty team that MAC Cosmetics is finally coming to our small Slovenia! And not only that, it will be a full size store in one of the biggest shopping centers in Ljubljana.

Where? Of course Shopping Center Citypark. Opening of MAC store in Ljubljana, Slovenia is planned in the Fall 2017. Only several months to go. It may sound boring to all my international readers, but we have truly waited for this moment ever since Zagreb got it's own MAC store. And of course, let's not forget you can shop in MAC while you're visiting Slovenia on your holidays.

Predvideno odprtje bo v jesenskem času pod okriljem Orbico Beauty, tako da nas loči le še nekaj toplih mesecev. Končno bomo lahko tudi Slovenke nakupovale to legendarno znamko, ki je bila do zdaj na voljo le v tujini.

Sama imam že preko 25+ MAC šmink in ostalih izdelkov, kar pa ne pomeni, da imam MAC listo želja prazno...
